Chinese esports organization Invictus Gaming (IG) announced on Friday that it had signed a sponsorship deal with Chengdu-based dairy brand Jule. The Jule logo will be featured on the right shoulder of the team jerseys.

Financial terms and duration of the deal were not disclosed.

In addition, the sponsorship also includes an endorsement term, with IG players appearing as endorsers on the milk brand’s packaging at supermarkets in Chengdu. The endorsing IG  players include Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok, Tian “Meiko” Ye, and Song “Rookie” Euijin. All of the aforementioned players have won the League of Legends World Championship in the past.

IG competes in the League of Legends Pro League (LPL), and completed restructuring last year. The organization is now owned by Chinese live streaming platform Huya, multi-channel network Young Sports, and its founder, Sicong Wang.

In addition, the League of Legends World Championship Grand Final will take place at the 18,000-seat Chengdu Dong’an Lake Sports Park Arena on Nov. 9. The sponsorship and endorsement could also be the first step for Chengdu-based Jule to engage with the League of Legends community and/or the esports community in the city.
