Global competitive entertainment company BLAST announced this week a multi-year partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), with a commitment to host up to four “world-class arena esports events” in Singapore over the next several years.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The announcement was made at a press conference on Wednesday in Singapore and was attended by Singapore Tourism Board Assistant Chief Executive Jean Ng and BLAST Chief Business Officer Leo Matlock. The deal was helped by BLAST successfully executing the $1 million USD BLAST Premier World Final in 2024, and ahead of the BLAST Dota Slam Singapore, which is set to take place Nov. 7 -9, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium and has a total prize pool of $1 million.
“Following the success of last year’s BLAST Premier World Final, we are delighted to forge this new multi-year partnership with BLAST that anchors a regular pipeline of esports events in Singapore and strengthens our position as Asia’s leading esports and entertainment hub,” said Jean Ng. “Large-scale international esports events create significant opportunities for our tourism ecosystem, benefiting local businesses and growing the local events and esports industries. We look forward to welcoming players and fans from around the world to Singapore this November and in the years ahead, where they can experience our vibrant culture and diverse offerings beyond the arena.”
BLAST said in its announcement that both parties expect these events to generate tens of millions of dollars in economic impact for Singapore through tourism, shopping, transportation, accommodations, and more.

Separately, BLAST announced that it has partnered with gaming peripheral company ZOWIE, naming it the official gaming monitor partner for the 2025 Fortnite Global Championship, which is set to take place in September in Lyon, France at the LDLC Arena. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. As part of this new deal ZOWIE will provide XL2566X+ gaming monitors to competitors on stage during the event. The last time ZOWIE worked with BLAST was at the final Counter-Strike: Global Offensive esports event, the BLAST.tv Paris Major, in 2023.
