Predator Orion 7000 named official PC of Intel Extreme Masters, makes first appearance at IEM Cologne.

International esports tournament and gaming festival company ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) announced Thursday that the Predator Orion 7000 has been named the official 2025 tournament PC of Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) in 2025.

The highlight of this new PC is part of EFG’s ongoing partnership with Acer and Intel..

The new PC is being used at IEM Cologne, one of the biggest Counter-Strike 2 competitions of the year taking place in Cologne, Germany. As the official PC of IEM events, the Predator Orion 7000 will be used by competitors during events and will be featured on broadcasts, and have its branding across social media and marketing materials.

The high-end model (prices vary based on configurations) Predator Orion 7000 features the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, 128GB of DDR5 memory, and the Predator CycloneX 360 cooling system.

In addition to the Predator Orion 7000 being highlighted during competitions at IEM Cologne, attendees will have an opportunity to see the model first-hand at the on-site Intel Tent, engage in various on-site activities, and meet select players competing at the event.

IEM Cologne takes place at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany (Aug. 1 – 3), this weekend with six teams competing for a lion’s share of a $1.25 million USD total prize pool. Those six teams are Mongolz, Natus Vincere, Furia, Team Spirit, Team Vitality, and Mouse Esports.

EFG is owned by Savvy Games Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Saudi Arabian government’s sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund. The company serves as the home of festival company DreamHack, esports platform FACEIT, and U.S. and U.K. focused esports production company Esports Engine. EFG also runs the Esports World Cup, alongside the Esports World Cup Foundation, which operates through a grant from the PIF.
