Evil Geniuses and Xborg launch fan engagement app.

North American esports organization Evil Geniuses (EG) announced Monday that it launched a new branded application aimed at fan engagement, developed by Xborg.

The new EG-branded fan engagement platform and its partnership with Xborg were announced in June—financial terms of that deal were not disclosed at the time.

The new EG-branded app, dubbed the EG Villainverse Fan App, features the organization’s logo and color scheme. The app, which can be downloaded directly from the EG website, features fan engagement activities such as avatars, giveaways and quests, leaderboards, access to exclusive EG content, an EG Battle Pass, and the chance to earn rewards and prizes, and much more.

“This partnership with Xborg has resulted in a cutting-edge digital experience that will take the ways we can engage with our community to new heights,” said Kayci Evans, Head of Marketing and Partnerships at Evil Geniuses. “We’ve worked hand-in-hand with Xborg to bring to life features for our fans that give them the chance to truly immerse in our Villainverse and be closer to the action than ever before.”

Owned by investment firm Peak6, EG currently competes in the Valorant Champions Tour America. Its current sponsors and partners include Apex Fintech Solutions, Global Citizen, We Insure, Zogo, and Theta Labs, among others.
