BLAST plans something special with Blacklyte for Austin Major

BLAST plans something special with Blacklyte for Austin Major.

Tournament operator BLAST announced this week that it will launch an activation with gaming chair maker and global chair partner Blacklyte at the upcoming Austin Major in Austin, Texas. Blacklyte is the global chair partner of BLAST related to multiple events including BLAST Premier, BLAST SLAM, BLAST R6, as well as the Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) and Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS).

Blacklyte will be prominently featured across the BLAST.tv Austin Major in June with its Atlas Gaming Desk being utilized during the competition. Blacklyte will also receive broadcast integration, branding on social media during the event, and more. More importantly, Blacklyte and BLAST will work together to produce the Blacklyte x BLAST.tv Austin Major Athena Pro model gaming chair.

The Athena Pro chair features BLAST.tv Austin Major branding as well as its mascot “Ace.”  The special edition chairs will be used by competitors during the Champions stage, where the top eight teams will fight to be crowned Major Champions.

The BLAST.tv Austin Major represents the company’s second Counter-Strike Major of 2025; it will bring together the top 32 Counter-Strike 2 teams in the world for three weeks of competition to earn a piece of the $1.25 million USD prize pool.
