Resurgens Gaming and Intel announced Tuesday a strategic partnership, naming the company the official PC processor of its subsidiary Ghost Gaming.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The new deal covers all of Ghost Gaming various operations including its competitive esports teams, content creator network, tournaments it operates, community activations, game development initiatives, and more.
In addition, Ghost Gaming will get early access to the latest technology from Intel Gaming, and will in turn showcase “how Intel powers gaming from the casual player to the content creator to the high end esports competitor, to the game developer.”
“Sponsoring Ghost Gaming as a technology partner is a perfect way to showcase our hardware across the entire spectrum of gaming,” said Sarah Stamp, NA gaming marketing manager at Intel. “We recognize Ghost Gaming to be a true 360 degree gaming organization with a bold and inclusive vision spanning competition, content creation, and even game development.”
Specific elements of this partnership include:
- Serving as #IntelAmbassadors, with Ghost Gaming showcasing PC builds using Intel CPUs.
- Equipping Ghost Gaming’s professional Counter-Strike 2 team with hardware.
- Demonstration of Intel-powered gaming laptops by content creators on the road to/on-site at DreamHack Dallas & IEM.
- Supporting Ghost Girls, its women-focused initiative.
- Supporting Ghost Launchpad, its game development initiative.
Atlanta-based Ghost Gaming currently competes in Fortnite, Rocket League, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike 2, and Valorant. Intel joins other Ghost Gaming sponsors, including Zenni Optical and Sly.
