Ukraine-based ESM.one, the parent company of Esports Charts and Streams Charts, announced Thursday that it has changed its name to AWERTI.
The company said in its announcement that this rebranding is part of a change in its focus, which has moved beyond just tracking livestreaming and competitive gaming.
“Back when we started, esports was growing fast — but reliable viewership data was almost nonexistent,” said Artyom Odintsov, CEO and co-founder of AWERTI. “We built Esports Charts to make that data accessible, not just for fans but for global brands as well. And we succeeded — the platform is now the global standard for esports viewership analytics. This isn’t just a rebrand, AWERTI represents the full scope of who we are now: a data-driven product company building the ecosystem for everything streamed live.”
AWERTI operates a number of businesses including Esports Charts (focused on data related to competitive gaming), Streams Charts (entertainment and gaming-focused live streaming from content creators), DoHuya (which provides data from Chinese streaming platforms DouYu and Huya), MIRAI by Streams Charts (an influencer marketing agency focused on streamers and creators), and Chess Watch (tracking chess tournaments on livestreams).
The company also operates analytics services for brands and sports and esports organization to track performance, and viewership data on a broad range of topics including sports, and politics, among others.
