Hero Esports, formerly VSPO, which operates China’s first Asian Champions League (ACL), has announced its partner lists for the event, as well as the DreamHack Shanghai, a part of ACL from May 16-18. It is also the first time DreamHack has come to China.
ACL is a multi-title esports tournament that features a ¥15 million RMB ($2.04 million USD) total prize pool. It will include competitions for Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2, Teamfight Tactics, CrossFire, Honor of Kings, Delta Force, League of Legends, Valorant, and Street Fighter 6.
For ACL, the partner list includes:
- Chief partner: Chinese CS 2 online platform 5E Play, which is also the long-term Chinese partner of ESL FACEIT Group’s Intel Extreme Masters.
- 3x Strategic partners: Esports World Cup, Shanghai-based travel complex Jinjiang International Holdings, and Shanghai-based sports company Shanghai Jiushi Group.
- 5x Special partners: hardware brand Savage Impact, energy drink Eastroc Super, smartphone HONOR, gaming chair TGIF, and artificial intelligence camera brand OBSBOT.
- 2x special partners for ACL Grand Finals: American fast-food chain POPEYES, and Chinese travel agency application Tong Cheng.
- Exclusive special partner for ACL Honor of Kings event: shampoo brand Clear
- For DreamHack Shanghai, the partner list includes:
- 3x Strategic partners: Jingjiang International Holdings, Chinese hardware brand 8Bitdo, and hardware brand ZOWIE.
- 3x Industry partners: HONOR, Savage Impact, and gaming chair Morphling.
- Special partner: Alipay
It should be noted that all competitions will be held in three large-scale venues in Shanghai, which include:
- Shanghai SPD Bank Oriental Sports Center: ACL’s Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, and Honor of Kings tournaments
- Shanghai Jing’An Sports Center: ACL’s CrossFire and Valorant tournaments
- Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC): For all ACL x DreamHack Shanghai tournaments, Dota 2, Street Fighter 6, Teamfight Tactics, and Delta Force.
