Paris-based game publisher Ubisoft and international tournament organizer BLAST announced two destinations on the BLAST Rainbow Six calendar, with the last competition of 2025 to take place in Munich, Germany, in November, followed by a return to Paris, France, for the Six Invitational in February 2026.
The BLAST R6 Major in Munich is set to take place from Nov. 8 – 16, and marks the first time the city will host a Rainbow Six esports event. The Six Invitational, the World Championship of BLAST R6 competition for the 2025-2026 season, will take place in Paris from Feb. 2 – 15, 2026.
For Munich, BLAST revealed that Phase 1 of the R6 Munich Major will take place from Nov. 8 to Nov. 11, and will not be open to the public. Phase 2 will run from Nov. 12- 16, with Nov. 12, competition closed to the public, and no competition planned for Nov. 13. From Nov. 14 – 16, fans can attend the final leg of the competition at the BMW Arena.
Teams will compete through their regional leagues, fighting to be one of 16 teams qualifying for the BLAST Rainbow Six Major in Munich. The total prize pool for the Major will be $750,000 USD.
From there, the top 20 teams of the season will head to Paris in February 2026 to compete in the Six Invitational. The last time the Six Invitational was in Paris was in 2021, but due to pandemic restrictions, fans were shut out of attending in person.
