ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced Friday that it has signed a deal with popular Counter-Strike 2 player Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut to serve as a global keyboard ambassador.
Financial terms of this deal were not disclosed. The collaboration deal between ROG and ZywOo was facilitated by esports agency Prodigy Agency, which has been a long-time agency of record for the Counter-Strike star since the beginning of his professional career.
The deal comes on the heels of ZywOo helping his teammates at Team Vitality make a strong showing in the Grand Slam with a victory at IEM Melbourne 2025 in late April, as well as wins at IEM Katowice 2025 and BLAST Rivals Spring 2025.
Under the terms of the deal, ZywOo will promote the ROG Falchion Ace HFX, his “weapon of choice” when competing in Counter-Strike 2, according to the company.
“I’m incredibly excited to join ROG,” said ZywOo, in a release. “Since I started playing with their keyboards, I’ve been really impressed. It just clicks with my style. It’s been amazing to use them to win so many events, and I’m proud to take this partnership further. I really like playing with my ROG Falchion Ace HFX. It feels super smooth and fast. The switches are the best I’ve used so far, and it just gives me a really good feeling when I play. That confidence makes a big difference.”
As part of this partnership, ZywOo will also be one of the first professional players to test and help fine-tune upcoming ROG keyboards, while also promoting these products with content on his personal social media and channels.
