Gaming-focused, low-latency voice platform company SONIX announced Tuesday that it has entered into a definitive asset purchase agreement with RUSH Entertainment AG to acquire its brand and intellectual property.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Both companies are headquartered in Switzerland.
When this transaction is complete, SONIX will combine its ultra-low-latency voice platform with RUSH’s white label scalable esports tournament engine, will provide content creators, the gaming community, major IP owners such as publishers, third-party tournament organizers, and brands an all-in-one solution for competitive gaming.
Since its launch, RUSH has successfully operated more than 2,500 online tournament events and onboarded 300,000+ competitive gamers on its tournament platform. The technologies will be merged into one solution in the coming months, SONIX said in a release.

This acquisition of assets comes on the heels of SONIX announcing earlier this month that it had managed to raise an additional CHF 1.8 million—or $2.2 million USD, in a funding round from a group of undisclosed investment round To date, the company has raised roughly CHF 6 million—or $7.3 million (based on the currency exchange rate of roughly CHF 1 = $1.22 USD for April 15, 2025).
The company also announced the launch of a crowdfunding campaign on April 15Â to raise additional capital for expansion.
