Miami Heretics partner with Anthros, will make their debut at CDL Major 3 in Florida.

Miami-based esports and gaming company Misfits Gaming Group announced Tuesday that its Call of Duty League team, Miami Heretics, has partnered with ergonomic seating solutions brand Anthros.

Financial terms of this new deal were not disclosed.

In addition to promoting the brand across its social media channels, on jerseys, in created content, and during official competitions, Anthros gaming chairs will be used during the upcoming Call of Duty League Major 3. CDL Major 3 is being hosted by Miami Heretics in Boca Raton, Florida, at the Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena from April 24 – 27. Tickets for the event are still available here. CDL Major 3 is being supported by SCUF Gaming, Hooters, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission, and workspace design and manufacturing firm MFC (My Favorite Company).

Anthros joins other Miami Heretics and Team Heretics sponsors, including SCUF Gaming, Republic of Gamers, San Miguel beer, Hyundai, Logitech G, ZOWIE, Warner Music Spain, Movistar, NewBreed, Fick, and many others.

You may recall that Misfits Gaming Group owns the franchise slot for the Call of Duty League team, but in the summer of 2023, it entered into an agreement with Spanish esports organization Team Heretics to rebrand its team at the time—Florida Mutineers—to Miami Heretics and let the organization operate it.

Under the terms of that deal, Team Heretics became an equity partner in the franchise, handling content and marketing for the team. Misfits Game Group continues to run the team’s daily operations and handle commercialization, as far as we know.
