Australia-based esports organization Ground Zero Gaming announced this week that it has signed a partnership deal with Philips-owned monitor brand Philips Evnia.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Under the terms of this new partnership, Philips Evnia will serve as the organization’s exclusive monitor partner for the remainder of its competitive season in 2025. Ground Zero Gaming’s League of Legends, Pokemon Unite, and Rocket League rosters will represent the brand on jerseys, across social media, in multimedia content, and through fan-focused product activations, among other planned collaborative efforts.
“We are thrilled to partner with Philips Evnia, a brand that shares our ambition to push the limits of competitive gaming,” said Beau Melia, founder and CEO of Ground Zero Gaming. “After winning back-to-back LCO titles, our expansion into the Pacific Championship Series in Taiwan marks a new era for Ground Zero Gaming. With Philips Evnia’s cutting-edge gaming technology supporting our players, we’re ready to take on the region’s best and continue building an esports legacy that Australians can be proud of.”
Ground Zero Gaming is one of Australia’s leading League of Legends teams, earning a place in the Pacific Championship Series (PCS) in Taiwan, where eight teams compete in the region. The organization has also represented Australia on the international stage in Rocket League and Pokémon Unite competitions. Ground Zero Gaming also competes in Marvel Rivals. The company also operates a marketing agency that focuses on gaming and esports enthusiasts.
Philips Evnia joins other Ground Zero Gaming sponsors such as 8BitDo, Pegatron Corporation-owned ASRock, Backbone, AndaSeat, and Bluemouth Interactive.
