Helsinki-based game developer Supercell announced Monday an in-game collaboration between its popular mobile MOBA game Clash of Clans and stars from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). As part of this new collaboration, stars such as Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley will get special in-game characters. The collaboration is part of Clash of Clans’ sponsorship of WrestleMania 41, taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, from April 19 – 20.

The new in-game characters will be rolled out as part of an update on April 1. That update will include new characters based on WWE stars such as Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, The Undertaker, Kane, Bianca Belair, Rey Mysterio, Becky Lynch, and Jey Uso. It will also add new WWE-themed environments to play in.

It is unclear what effect, if any, these new characters will have on the 2025 season for Clash of Clans esports, which begins next month.

The format and other details of  the 2025 Clash of Clans World Championship were announced on March 21. This year’s competition will feature Hard Mode throughout all phases of the tournament, a Prize Pool of $1 million USD and eight teams competing in the World Finals.

This year’s competition will feature five monthly ladders to start five monthly competitions, one Chinese Regional Qualifier, one Last Chance Qualifier, and finally, the World Finals featuring the top eight teams. The competition will run from April 9 until Sept. 14, with the World Finals dates to be announced—though the 2024 World championship took place in November.
