“We’re always determined to give fans the best experience possible, so we’re delighted to introduce the LEC Roadtrip, providing more opportunities to enjoy League of Legends in-person,” said Artem Bykov, LEC Commissioner at Riot Games. “Movistar KOI and Karmine Corp are renowned for having passionate and loud fanbases, and we can’t wait to collaborate with both teams to bring these events to life for their communities.”
Riot said that Roadtrip events will be televised on official 2025 LEC broadcast and co-stream partner channels. Tickets for in-person attendance are being handled by the organizations hosting these events, Riot added.
Finally, Riot said that LEC Roadtrip events will not replace the annual LEC Roadshow. The 2025 LEC Roadshow will take place at the conclusion of the LEC Summer Split and that these new events are part of pilot initiative for the 2025 LEC season.
