International tournament organizer BLAST announced Thursday that it has expanded its sponsorship with Progressive Insurance, naming it the presenting sponsor for the remainder of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2025 season.

Financial terms for this extended partnership were not disclosed. Progressive, the second largest auto insurance company in the United States (for commercial auto, motorcycle, and boat insurance), served as the sponsor of the Rocket League World Championship in Fort Worth, Texas, in September 2024.

“We’re excited to help bring a fun and competitive Rocket League Championship Series season to the Esports community in 2025,” Sean Freeman, media business Leader at Progressive, said in a release. “We look forward to connecting with the passionate fans of Rocket League both in-game and in the arena all season long through this expanded sponsorship.”

Thursday’s announcement marks a deeper investment in esports by Progressive, adding its presence across all Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) events in 2025, including Qualifiers, RLCS Majors (Birmingham, UK, and Raleigh, North Carolina), and the Rocket League World Championship later this year in Lyon, France.

Under the terms of this extended partnership, the Progressive brand will be featured at RLCS 2025 in-person events, across social media channels, on streaming platforms during competition broadcasts, and during in- and out-of-game through logo integrations.
