OPPO, MOONTON team up for MLBB grassroots competition in Jakarta.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) developer MOONTON announced Monday that it has partnered with global smartphone brand OPPO to host the MLBB x OPPO Smooth Legend Cup APAC Grand Finals. Taking place March 27-29, the MLBB x OPPO Smooth Legend Cup APAC Grand Finals take place at the Gandaria City Mall in Jakarta Indonesia.

The competition promises to give a spotlight to local grassroots teams from such countries as Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. These teams will be competing on the new OPPO Reno13 5G smartphone for a combined prize pool of $76.5K USD. MOONTON claimed in its release that more than 300 grassroots teams from the aforementioned regions competed online to make it to the finals.

Fans attending the event in person at the Gandaria City Mall will also be treated to interactive activities, exclusive giveaways, a chance to win 5,000 MLBB Diamonds and take home the exclusive OPPO x MLBB limited-edition gift boxes containing in-game items and other surprises. Those who cannot attend can also win prizes by watching it on either YouTube or Facebook.

Grassroots teams representing their home countries at the event include the following players:

  • Thailand: Framezy (Team Leader), May, Ampzy, Izy, and Azy.
  • Malaysia: ⁠⁠Ombong (Team Leader), 2ez4Jepv, Obot, Saiful, and Rush.
  • Singapore: OhDeerBambi (Team Leader), Aeon, Pokemon, Potato, and Remaniscent.
  • Cambodia: CatGod (Team Leader), LEEXIN, ATM, ATEV, and HENGLOL.
  • Philippines: Team #1: Rafflesia (Team Leader), Jeffqt4ever, Dysania, Killuash, and kambs; Team #2: Benthings (Team Leader), Yakou, Scyte, Fuzaken, and Eyon.
  • Indonesia: Team #1: Luminaire (Team Leader), Wann, Caramel, Pica, and Rexxy; Team #2: Clayyy (Team Leader), Tuturu, Liam, AyamJAGO, and Banana.
