Guild Esports and Gaming has completed the acquisition of Encore, a Los Angeles–based fan engagement and analytics platform. This strategic investment expands Guild’s toolkit by integrating Encore’s data-gathering capabilities, including its flagship Fan ID protocol, into its suite of products and services. The move will enable Guild to offer partners and end users enhanced methods for capturing zero- and first-party data to drive secure, reward-based fan engagement.
In a separate but equally significant development, Guild has entered into a partnership with GINX TV, a gaming content broadcaster. Under the terms of the agreement, GINX TV will relocate its operations from Tileyard Studios in Kings Cross to Guild’s Sky Guild Gaming Centre in Shoreditch, London, establishing a permanent live studio and gallery. The deal includes a convertible loan arrangement that could grant Guild a 25% stake in GINX TV, expanding the company’s distribution network and content creation capabilities across digital, web, and TV platforms.
Together, these initiatives highlight Guild Esports and Gaming’s strategic shift as it transitions into a comprehensive gaming solutions business. The major corporate transformation follows its recent asset sale to California-based DCB Sports. This acquisition marked Guild’s transition from a London Stock Exchange-listed company to a private entity, with assets now operated under Guild Esports and Gaming Ltd.
