Publicly traded sportsbook data and technology company Genius Sports Limited (NYSE GENI) announced that it has signed partnerships with esports-based odds data companies Bayes Esports and GRID Esports to provide its sportsbooks with esports betting data.

Financial terms of these deals were not disclosed.

“We are thrilled to announce these new partnerships with Bayes and GRID, two leaders in their field, to create an unrivalled esports content suite for our sportsbook partners,” said Genius Sports Global Partnerships Director Matt Stephenson in a release. “As the new home of esports for sportsbooks, we will provide our partners with the highest-quality data and odds on the most prestigious titles in the sport.”

Under the terms of this new deal, GRID will provide esports data from such titles as League of Legends, Valorant, Rainbow Six: Siege esports, as well as Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 data from tournament organizer BLAST and its own competitions, the Champion of Champions. GRID will also provide other offerings to Genius Sports, such as streaming data.

Bayes Esports will serve as the exclusive data partner of key esports tournaments from ESL FACEIT Group, including Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2. Esports World Cup data is likely also available, as GRID has a partnership in place with organizer the Esports World Cup Foundation, though mention of that was part of the announcement.

Genius Sports is owned by Apax Partners, a UK-based private equity firm headquartered in London, with offices in Hong Kong, New York, Mumbai, Tel Aviv, Munich, and Shanghai. The company also runs a number of subsidiaries, including Betgenius, Second Spectrum Sporting, and Pulse International, among others.

The company went public in January. On March 4, the company reported group revenue of $176 million USD in Q4 and $511 million in the full year 2024; a group net loss of $28 million in Q4 and $63 million in the full-year 2024; and group adjusted EBITDA of $32 million in Q4 and $86 million in the full year 2024.
