On the eve of TFT Macao Open (Dec. 13-15, the biggest esports competition for its auto-battler game Teamfight Tactics of the year), Riot Games revealed via a video announcement that it will host its biggest TFT competition in 2025, in Paris, France. Further details about Teamfight Tactics Paris Open were not disclosed beyond the initial announcement, but we assume the scale and scope of next year’s event will be similar to the 2024 event in Macao.

The TFT Macao Open (which officially kicks off on Friday) features a 512 competitor open-bracket LAN tournament, what Riot calls an “Into the Arcane event experience,” a development team Q&A panel, onsite live co-streamer booths, and more, all taking place at the Venetian Macao. In addition, the event offers in-game rewards and other shiny bauble to fans who participate in some way with the competition or with its co-streaming partners.

The TFT Macao Open Champion will take home $100K USD of a $300K total prize pool.

More details about the depth and breadth of activities surrounding the competition can be found in this thread on X/Twitter.
