India-based esports and gaming company NODWIN Gaming has secured the rights to distribute The Game Awards in India, Myanmar, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Taiwan. This new deal expands on its rights deal signed with The Game Awards in 2023.
Financial terms of the extended deal were not disclosed.
In addition to bringing the show to more markets, NODWIN will also use additional platforms and avenues to distribute the show including television, OTT, through online platforms and through influencer channels in the aforementioned regions.

Launched in 2014 by former games journalist Geoff Keighley, The Game Awards highlights new games coming to market through world -exclusive previews, and honors the top games, creators and even esports players and teams at its annual globally televised event. The 10-year anniversary edition of the show will take place on Dec. 12.
NODWIN generally focuses on facilitating gaming festivals and competitive gaming events in South Asia and the MENA region. Earlier this month it received a commitment of ₹640M ($7.56M) in investments from Gaming company Nazara Technologies, which will occur through the subscription of Optionally Convertible Preference Shares.
