Saudi Arabia-based esports organization Team Falcons announced Monday a five year partnership with digital banking platform NEO Digital Banking. Neo Digital Banking is a subsidiary of the Saudi government-owned bank, the Saudi National Bank (SNB).
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The new five year partnership was announced at an event in Riyadh attended by NEO Digital Banking CEO Dr. Saleh Al-Furai and Team Falcons CEO Mossad Al-Dossary.
Under the terms of this new deal, Team Falcons will promote the new banking platform through online marketing, through branding on its social media and content creation platforms, on jerseys during events and competitions, and more. The end goal is for Team Falcons to promote the “digital banking services tailored to a young, tech-savvy audience,” according to the announcement.
“We are proud to partner with NEO, as it aligns with our vision of creating unique experiences for players and esports fans in the Kingdom,” said Al-Dossary in a release. “This agreement represents a significant step in integrating digital technology into Saudi esports culture, and we are excited about our future achievements together.”
The companies aim to create and deploy new banking solutions for esports fans with a focus on young consumers in the region. In addition, NEO hopes this partnership will raise its visibility on the international stage, provide it with opportunities to invests in esports, and strengthen ties between esports and financial institutions.
NEO joins other current Team Falcons partners including with Barns Coffee and Kudu.
