The International Esports Federation (IESF) announced Thursday a partnership with Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences as the official main partner for the upcoming World Esports Championship 2024 (WEC 2024) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which officially kicks off on Nov. 11.
Financial terms of this partnership were not disclosed.
Under the terms of this new partnership, Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences is named a main partner and will provide accommodations to the 480 athletes and their teams participating in the event, according to a release.

By partnering with the International Esports Federation, we are setting a new standard for Esports events, ensuring that WEC24 will be an unforgettable journey for all attendees. The IESF-run WEC is a multi-esport event featuring teams from hundreds of nations from around the world, who are supported locally by esports federations that are partnered with the IESF. Competitions at this year’s event include Counter-Strike 2 men’s and women’s competitions, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Dota 2, PUBG Mobile, and TEKKEN 7.
This year’s event is being hosted by the Saudi Esports Federation. The Saudi Esports Federation is led by HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud, who is also the vice president of the Global Esports Federation and president of the IESF.
