North American gaming and lifestyle company XSET announced this week that it has partnered with Samsung Galaxy to promote its women-focused gaming initiative, XSET QUEENS.
Financial terms of this partnership were not disclosed.
Under the terms of this new deal, XSET and Samsung will team up for the first time at New York Comic Con (NYCC) with an activation featuring special appearances by members of the XSET QUEENS roster. Ultimately, the partnership aims to promote the Samsung Galaxy brand of mobile devices and the message of empowering women in the gaming space, according to XSET.
The partnership will make its debut at New York Comic Con (NYCC), Oct. 17-20 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, with Samsung Galaxy and XSET working together to provide an onsite experience that offers gaming enthusiasts hands-on interactions and activations.
“This partnership with Samsung Galaxy represents a pivotal moment for XSET and the gaming industry as a whole,” said Bryanna Goecke, chief revenue officer of XSET. “Together, we’re not just advancing technological innovation; we’re redefining what it means to be a gamer in today’s world. The XSET QUEENS embody the spirit of innovation and diversity that both our brands champion.”
The activities include an XSET QUEENS meet-and-greet with Aliyah Will on Saturday (Oct. 19), a PUBG Mobile Battle Royale exhibition match on the Galaxy Z Fold6 device, a “Lone Survivor Photo-Op “ (fans can capture their “NYCC memories” using Samsung technology), and exclusive giveaways including chances to win Galaxy products such as the Galaxy Z Fold6 and the Galaxy Buds3 Pro.
XSET said in its announcement that this partnership and this collaborative promotion in New York City is the first in a series of plans with Samsung Galaxy—additional collaborations, content, and events will be announced in the coming months.
