The Six Invitational 2025 coming to Boston in 2025

Esports tournament organizer BLAST and game publisher Rainbow Six Siege developer and publisher Ubisoft announced Tuesday that the next location for The Six Invitational 2025 will take place at MGM Music Hall in Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. The multi-use venue primarily used for music concerts has a total capacity of 5,000 attendees, depending on configuration (though we assume this means “standing room only” configurations for concerts).

The Six Invitational 2025 will feature the top 20 Rainbow Six Siege teams in the world vying for first place and the lion’s share of a $3M USD total prize pool. The grand final competition is tentatively scheduled for Feb. 14 – 16, 2025. Important dates for 2025:

  • Phase 1 – Group Stage: Feb. 3-7, 2025 (not open to the public).
  • Phase 2 – Playoffs: Feb. 9-11, 2025 (not open to the public).
  • Phase 3 – “Finals”: Feb. 14-16, 2025 (open to the public at the MGM Music Hall).

Stage 2 of the 2024 season is currently underway, with teams competing in Regional Leagues to collect Global Points and qualify for November’s BLAST R6 Montreal Major, the final chance to gain points towards qualification for The Six Invitational 2025. Twenty teams will ultimately travel to Boston in February, with one team hosting the iconic Sledgehammer trophy.
