Bayes Esports Co-CEO and Co-Managing Director Martin Dachselt announced this week that he would be leaving the company to pursue new endeavors. In a social media post Dachselt noted that he would remain a strategic advisor for the company:
“After an incredible 8 years, I’m bidding farewell to my role as CEO of Bayes Esports. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m incredibly proud of everything we’ve accomplished together. From hopeful beginnings at DOJO Madness to becoming a key player in the esports data industry, it’s been an honor to be part of this journey.
“While I’m stepping down as Co-CEO, I’m excited to remain involved as a strategic advisor,” he added. “I’m confident that Bayes Esports has a bright future ahead, and I can’t wait to see what the team achieves next. Onwards and upwards!”
Bayes Esports also announced the departure via social media on Friday, thanking Dachselt for his time and effort while at the company:
“Martin has been a driving force not only in Bayes Esports’ successes but also as a pioneer in many of the esports industry’s technological advancements. In our latest blog post, we speak with Martin about his favorite memories and milestones from the last 8 years.
“His leadership has been instrumental in creating cutting-edge esports products like BEDEX, Bayes Odds Marketplace, and Bayes Highlights, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.”
With Dachselt’s departure, Bayes Esports CEO and Managing Director Amir Mirzaee will take the reins, along with support from Chief Financial Officer Christopher Bohlmann and Chief Technology Officer Dr.-Ing. Notger Heinz.
Dachselt is a founding father of Bayes, having been a part of the company since its launch in early 2019 as a joint venture between company DOJO Madness and sports data company Sportradar.
