Gaming media business Carolina Gaming and Call of Duty League team Carolina Royal Ravens have announced a new partnership this month, with a focus on developing and executing a regional commercial strategy.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Under the terms of this new deal, Carolina Gaming will work with the franchise during the 2024-2025 Call of Duty League season on developing regional partnerships, marketing, community, and brand development. Carolina Gaming said it will do this by building key partnership infrastructure, generating assets, and developing commercial strategy tailored to the region.

In addition, the companies will work together to design marketing campaigns “aimed at organically growing and engaging the Royal Ravens’ community, both within the Carolinas and abroad.”

Formerly the London Royal Ravens, the CDL team moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, in September 2023, and subsequently rebranded as the Carolina Royal Ravens. The Infinite Reality-owned franchise had considered moves to other regions such as Madrid, Mexico City, and Washington DC, but ultimately landed in North Carolina.
