UK-based Epic Global announced this week that it has rebranded as Feenix Group following an investment round led by Quintas Capital and Beach Point Capital Management. The rebrand will create four divisions within the rebranded company, each focused on different aspects of esports and gaming including game content creation, talent, brands, and intellectual property.

The new group was formed following a decision by co-founders Sinead Hosey and Trev Keane to “upweight their service offering in response to market demand,” according to a release. This recent investment round totalled €1.5M (roughly $1.67M USD), which is being used to expand the focus of the company into new areas.

“We’ve long been recognised as one of the most trusted and reputable agencies in the gaming and esports industry and with this rebrand we’re excited to cover new ground as we establish more brands and talent figures in the gaming space,” said Sinead Hosey, co-founder of Feenix Group. “We’ve already signed some groundbreaking deals that are sure to cause ripples once announced so stay tuned for more.”

The new divisions within Fenix Group are Feenix Agency, which will focus on Gen-Z/Gen Alpha gaming-related marketing; Feenix Esports, focused on Esports consulting; Feenix Studio, which will work on UGC game content, with a key focus on brand & IP integration into platforms such as Roblox and Fortnite; and Feenix Talent, which will provide talent management services to esports professionals and content creators. Epic Global’s business functions (creating grassroots level esports competitions) will continue to be run through the Feenix Agency and Feenix Esports divisions.
