Raidiant announced Monday a new partnership with broadband service provider Xfinity.

Financial terms of this new deal were not disclosed.

Under the terms of this new partnership, Raidiant will serve as Xfinity’s official tournament operator and broadcast production company on the upcoming “Xfinity Run it Back” esports tournament. The Xfinity Run it Back tournament will feature top collegiate teams from across the United States competing in a series of Rocket League and Valorant matches. Raidiant will oversee all aspects of the competition including video production,  live commentary, player interviews, and behind-the-scenes content.

In addition to producing the tournament, Raidiant will work with Xfinity to support collegiate esports programs with the launch of the “Raidiant Report Card,” an initiative aimed at “aspiring esports broadcasters and production crew members.” The program promises to offer students the opportunity to join the broadcast production team to gain hands-on experience and insights into the industry. After each student-produced broadcast, the Raidiant Report Card will be issued, featuring a live virtual feedback session with Raidiant’s Executive Producer and Founder. During these sessions, students  can ask questions, address challenges, and receive constructive feedback to help them improve.

Raidiant will also provide graphics packages for colleges to use during their broadcasts.

Created “by women, for women,” Raidiant is a broadcast, events, and content platform company aimed at improving conditions for women in gaming and esports through multiple initiatives including education, hands-on experiences, and more.  You can learn more about the organization at raidiant.gg.
