Red Bull League of its Own comes to Paris in December

Red Bull League of its Own comes to Paris in December.

Red Bull Gaming announced Wednesday the return of League of Its Own, its League of Legends esports event. The League of Legends showcase event will be held at the Accor Arena in Paris, France, on Dec. 15th, with capacity for over 15,000 fans to be in attendance.

The event will be live-streamed via Red Bull’s gaming channels on Twitch and YouTube.

Two high-profile teams have been confirmed for competition: T1 and Paris-based Karmine Corp, with four other high-profile participants “to be announced at a later date.

Red Bull also announced that gaming monitor brand AGON by AOC will return as official monitor partner, along with car manufacturer Opel and gaming chair maker Backforce signing on to support the event.

For better or worse (depending on your perspective) Red Bull promises “unexpected matchups and innovative rule twists, ensuring no two games are alike and the outcome remains unpredictable and ultimately surprising until the very end,” according to a release. Rules, competition format, co-streaming partners, and more will be released at a later date.
