Germany-based esports organization Berlin International Gaming (BIG) announced a new partnership with BWI GmbH, one of Germany’s largest IT service providers and the official “digitalization partner of the German military (Bundeswehr).”

Financial terms of this new partnership were not disclosed, but the deal was facilitated through the sports business agency SPORTFIVE.

Under the terms of this new deal, BWI will directly support BIG’s men’s and women’s (BIG EQUIPA) Counter-Strike 2 teams and its Trackmania team. As part of that deal, the BWI logo will be featured on BIG jerseys and across the team’s digital channels. Both organizations will also collaborate on a variety of activities and activations including “fairs and events to increase reach and visibility, as well as create synergies in employer branding,” according to a release.

“We are very pleased with BWI’s trust in us as their first partner in gaming and esports,” says Daniel Finkler, CEO & Co-Founder of BIG. “In addition to digital formats and support for our globally established Trackmania and Counter-Strike 2 Male and Female Teams, we plan joint activities and events. We are excited to have BWI by our side and look forward to our shared future.”

BWI joins other BIG partners including UNLTD, SkinBaron, Backforce, Volvic, die Bayerische, Leet Desk, Pizza Hut, Philips OneBlade, Logitech G, SoftwareOne, and Acer Predator. BIG currently competes on the international stage in Counter-Strike 2 (Men’s and Women’s teams), League of Legends, Trackmania, and StarCraft II, and operates a Counter-Strike academy team (BIG Academy).
