Red Bull Gaming announced Thursday a new North American Qualifier to bring the five best Valorant teams to Seattle, Washington, on Sept. 29 – 30, to earn a spot at Red Bull Home Ground later this year.

The fifth edition of Red Bull Home Ground, a VCT OFF//SEASON competition, will expand its competition series by introducing the first North American Qualifier as part of its global slate of regional qualifiers.

The Red Bull Home Ground NA Qualifier will take place on Sept. 29, at Fremont Studios in Seattle, Washington, and will offer a total prize pool of $20K USD. Fans can catch the action via the Red Bull Twitch and Red Bull Gaming YouTube channels, as well as in person in Seattle.

The winning team will take a lion’s share of the cash prize and secure a direct invite to compete in the World Finals Group Stage at the Red Bull Home Ground World Finals this Fall. Additional news on the World Finals will be announced in July.

While other teams are to be announced/determined at a later date, Red Bull revealed that Cloud9 is the first official team to compete at this year’s tournament—mainly due to standing in VCT Americas and being the runner-up of Red Bull Home Ground 2023.

More details about the qualifier will be released in the coming weeks, including casting talent, co-streamers, sponsors, and more.
