South Asia-focused tournament organizer and gaming festival company NODWIN Gaming announced Friday that it has hired The Esports Club (TEC) Co-Founder Ishaan Arya as its new vice president of sales & partnerships.
In his new role at NODWIN, Ishaan will focus on the company’s existing IPs—BGMS, DreamHack India, NODWIN India Premiership, Valorant Challengers South Asia, and Comic Con India—and on securing “new brand partnerships, initiatives, and innovative IPs.”
“I am excited to join NODWIN Gaming to contribute to their massive roster of global gaming, esports, and lifestyle events,” Arya said in the announcement. “As one of the top new-age sports media organizations in the world, NODWIN Gaming’s visionary approach and global roadmap have always been top-notch. Alongside a fantastic team, I am eager to utilize my expertise in large-scale gaming events and publisher partnerships to elevate the company to new heights.”
Prior to joining NODWIN, Arya worked at Bangalore-based esports and gaming marketing firm Basik Marketing, while simultaneously serving in the role of head of business development at TEC.
NODWIN has made big moves in 2024; this year it expanded into the DACH region by investing millions of dollars in German gaming and esports company Freaks 4U Gaming, hired longtime ESL FACEIT Group executive Niels Wolter, acquired Turkey-based esports and gaming production company Ninja Global FZCO, acquired the rights to Comic Con India, and secured a partnership with the Global Esports Federation.
