Moonton Games continues partnership with Qiddiya City to support Mobile Legends Bang Bang international events

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang developer Moonton Games and Saudi Arabian-backed city project Qiddiya City announced an extension of their existing partnership that will see both companies work together to promote upcoming international events.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the terms of the extended deal, Qiddiya has been named the global presenting partner of both the M6 World Championship in Malaysia and the MLBB Professional Leagues (MPLs). The company will also help Moonton to “bring online and offline activations” to the M6 World Championship, MPL MENA Seasons 5 and 6, and MPL Indonesia Seasons 13 and 14. The activations include the Qiddiya Play of the Day, which highlights the “best in-game plays from any game through curated replays,” and the Qiddiya Legends Award, which celebrates the “outstanding players and performances” during MPL Indonesia and MPL MENA.

Moonton and Qiddiya City first began working together in December 2023, when Qiddiya City became the “global presenting sponsor” of the M5 World Championship.

Qiddiya City is a futuristic city project owned by the Saudi Arabian government’s sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund. The PIF also owns another city project—NEOM—and Savvy Games Group, the owner of ESL FACEIT Group and Monopoly: GO makers Scopely.
