DreamHack continues with Tele2 for Swedish events

ESL FACEIT Group-owned gaming tournament and festival company DreamHack announced Thursday that it has renewed its partnership with broadband provider Tele2.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

As part of its ongoing partnership, Tele2 will serve as the official supplier and broadband partner for the gaming lifestyle festivals in Sweden—DreamHack Summer and DreamHack Stockholm. Both companies have been working together since 2016.

According to the announcement, this year’s events will feature “fast internet, with dual redundant fiber paths offering speeds of 20 Gbit/second upstream and downstream per connection.”

In addition to providing broadband services, Tele2 will also co-host a seminar focusing on esports, gaming safety, and inclusion at DreamHack Summer 2024 (in collaboration with the Prince Couple’s Foundation), featuring esports pro players, representatives from the Jönköping E-sports Association, and other panelists.

DreamHack Summer takes place June 14 – June 16 at the Elmia Exhibition and Convention Centre in Elmia, Jönköping, Sweden; while DreamHack Stockholm will be held at the Stockholmsmässan in Stockholm, Sweden, Nov. 22 – Nov. 25.
