GAMERGY announced earlier this month that it would launch its first North American event, GAMERGY Miami, in Miami, Florida, March 21 – 24, 2024.
The event will feature an expo area of more than 11,000 square meters (118,403 square feet) and a main stadium where to-be-announced esports competitions will take place. Some of the activities planned include amateur and professional competitions, music shows, collegiate esports competitions, meet-and-greets with influencers and content creators, and activation zones for brands to showcase their products and services.
Details on collegiate events are also to be announced. GGTech Entertainment secured the rights to operate collegiate tournaments and competitions from Riot Games for the next three years; those collegiate esports include Teamfight Tactics, Valorant, and League of Legends.
GAMERGY is a joint venture owned by IFEMA and GGTech Entertainment, and has already hosted more than 20 international esports and gaming festivals in Spain, Mexico, and Argentina.
